Scheinfeld
Beit Shemesh’s pioneering Anglo Modern Orthodox neighborhood, with mature institutions and a suburban character.
Established in 1991, Scheinfeld is a long-standing Anglo Modern Orthodox community where approximately 70 percent of residents are English-speaking. Tree-lined streets, private homes, established Dati Leumi schools, and a multi-generational social network give it a settled suburban atmosphere.
Unlike newer developments still building their identity, Scheinfeld benefits from decades of continuity. Children grow up around longstanding institutions, older and younger families share the same communal spaces, and residents can draw on an established base of educators, rabbis, and volunteers.

Education
Scheinfeld’s national-religious schools have served the city for decades, combining strong Torah studies with full secular curricula and drawing students from across Beit Shemesh.
The local schools are central not only to family logistics but to the neighborhood’s identity. Their combination of serious Torah learning and full secular studies reflects the expectations of the Dati Leumi families who first established the community.

Synagogues and community life
Long-established kehillos offer adult education, youth groups, and social initiatives that reinforce the neighborhood’s close-knit character.
Scheinfeld’s shuls have had time to develop substantial adult learning, youth activity, and social support. Residents can choose among several established kehillos while remaining part of a broader English-speaking neighborhood network.

Mishkenot Yaakov
Mishkenot Yaakov places residents at the busiest and most convenient point of RBS Aleph. This compact Yeshivish enclave is best known for immediate access to the Merkaz, public transportation, established schools, and a dense network of minyanim and Torah learning.
M3 (Mem Shalosh)
M3 offers a quieter, more spacious alternative to the denser centers of Ramat Beit Shemesh. Larger homes, a primarily American Yeshivish population, and an open valley-edge setting give the neighborhood a suburban feel while keeping the services of Aleph and Gimmel close at hand.
Mishkafayim
Mishkafayim is a small, upscale ridge community for families who value newer construction, lower density, and wide views. Although primarily residential, it remains closely connected to the schools, shopping, health services, and parks of greater RBS Aleph.
